Rules and Expectations

Tiger Traits ~ All students will be expected to follow our district wide Tiger Traits.  They are as follows:

• All will consistently show mutual respect.
• All will engage in positive strategies to resolve conflicts.
• All will demonstrate responsibility for themselves.
• All will have pride in themselves, their school, and their community.

Assignment Books ~ All students will be responsible for completing a daily assignment book.  Those assignments which are finished during school will be initialed at the end of the day.  Any work needing to be finished at home will be circled in the assignment book.

Turning in homework ~ All assignments will be due by the 8:15 bell each morning.  Assignments turned in late will have five points deducted from the student's grade.  Work "completed, but left at home" is still considered late, and will have points deducted.  In addition, any work turned in without the student's name on it is also considered late and has five points deducted from it.

Grading Scale ~ This is the grading scale used in my classroom, as well as the rest of the fourth and fifth grades .  Grades are figured by taking the number correct divided by the total number possible.
