All About Mrs. Chaillie

Hello, I am Mrs. Chaillie. This is my sixth year in the Griswold Community School District and my eighth year at Elliott Elementary. Before coming to Elliott, I taught 3rd grade at the Lewis building. I graduated from Graceland University with a degree in Elementary Education and have endorsements in reading, middle school, and coaching. While in college I participated in cross-country and track. You may find it interesting that I was a Racewalker on the track team. Racewalking is an Olympic sport and some of the people I have raced against and trained with have represented the United States in the Olympic games.

Cross-Country and Boys Track take up my extra-curricular time. Griswold has amazing running talent. The cross country team and boys track team have taken many honors. Including:

Griswold Tiger Cross Country

I grew up on a farm north of Massena. My parents have Angus cattle on their farm and I really enjoy watching the baby calves in the pasture. I also enjoy watching my dog, Lady, round up the cattle.

My husband, John, and I enjoy living in Griswold. It is a wonderful place to raise our son Pace. We keep very busy spending time with our son. In my free time I can be found reading children's literature, cheering on the cyclones, walking, and spending time with my family and friends.
