Curriculum

Due to the wide variation in grade range, the curriculum must also have a great range.   Developing and expanding skills in the core academic areas of math, reading, and language are the main focus for most MS students.

At the high school level the focus generally shifts to more functional academics, such as life skills reading and writing activities, applied math, daily living skills, and vocational skills.

Because developing independent living skills is of utmost importance, basic social skills instruction is provided on an ongoing basis to all students both formally and informally, depending on student's needs.
