The Mission of GCSD

The mission of the Griswold Community School District, in

partnership with our families and communities, is to provided

leadership for positive change to ensure the best learning

opportunities for everyone in a safe and caring environment.

 

 

 

 

The Mission of the Griswold Guidance Department

It is the goal of the Griswold Community School Guidance Department to provide opportunities for all students to achieve and succeed.  Support will be provided to all students to enhance their skills and maximize their potential regarding their academic, career and personal/social development.  Graduates from Griswold high school will develop the attitudes and knowledge to prepare them to live, learn, and work together successfully in the world.

·          All students are able to learn.

·         All students should be provided opportunities to explore their interests and identify their abilities in order to make appropriate career choices.

·         All students should have an advocate, and learn to become an advocate for them.

·         All students will be served by certified school counselors who adhere to a code of ethics to ensure confidentiality.

·         Data will drive the process and procedures that will ensure that all students have benefitted from the guidance program.
