I graduated from Griswold Community Schools in 2004. After graduating I attended Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa and earned my BA in Elementary Education. I started teaching Kindergarten at the Elliott Elementary starting in the Fall of 2008. I will be starting my my 3rd year of teaching Kindergarten in Elliott Elementary this year.
I also am the HS girls assistant basketball coach here at Griswold. I will be going into my 3rd season with the girls this winter.
I enjoy all sports and the kids will find that I'm an Iowa State fan and loyal to the Kansas City Chiefs. I love the outdoors and try to do as much outside as the weather allows. I was recently married this fall October 30th to Steven Maguire from Treynor. It has been a full and exciting fall to say the least.
I have a spoiled beagle at home named Lucy that I'm sure the kids will meet at some point during the year. She is my baby and knows that!
I love what I do and appreciate each day with the kids. I can not think of anything more rewarding that I would like to come to each day.
