The expectation of this class is to have a project to work on throughout the year. Some students will be working on the same project for months, while others will do a new project every four weeks. Students may choose to make clothing, home decorations, quilts, curtains, uniforms, crafts, crochet, and knitting. Be creative and choose your own project!

The students in this class are excited about creating all kinds of things.  We have been sewing quilts, knitting scarves, making hats, and making purses out of Capri Sun drink boxes! 

However, they are NOT excited about having their pictures taken!  Here are a few of them, working on projects:

Expressions in Fabrics

This class is so full of excitement!  We have been sewing up a storm.  Many of the students are working on quilts.  They are very beautiful.  We are very anxious to get them done.

It is very exciting seeing so many of our young adults interested in sewing.  They are developing skills they can use for a lifetime.  Sewing is a great leisure time activity, as well as a money maker.
