This year's class of Family Living recruited a few members of study hall to participate in the annual Family Living Mock Wedding.  The Mock Wedding is a simulation of a real wedding.  It includes planning and preparing all the details one would if really getting married!  We planned details of dress, colors, cakes, decorating, music, vows, invitations, and programs.  With the aid of the study hall volunteers the wedding went without a hitch  -  literally, as this was a MOCK wedding!

The wedding party included:  Margo and Kirk as bride and groom.  Jessica and Alicia were bridesmaids, and Ray and Cody were groomsmen.  Alicia sang and Maddie played the piano.  This was the second year in a row that Chris acted as the minister.  Travis and Samantha were the host and hostess of the reception held in the FCS room.  Sister of the bride; Stephanie, was the photographer who provided all these pictures.  Enjoy!

 

 

May 2005

This spring members of the Family Living class, with the help of study hall recruits, prepared for and attended a mock wedding.  Members of the class planned the details of dress, colors, cake ordering and decorating, reception, music and service.  The mock wedding was held in the auditorium with the reception in the FCS room.

 It was a very hot day, but the wedding went "without a hitch". (Pun intended - as this was a MOCK wedding!)

The wedding party included:  Nicole and Aaron as bride and groom, Makayla and Lucas stood up as maid of honor and best man.  Others in the party include Alycia, Ashley, Jodi, Mitch, Brian, and Brad.   Jeri was the personal attendant, Doris played the piano while Ashley sang a solo.  MC and Marie took these pictures, Alicia acted as reception host, and Chris was the clergyman.
