Welcome to the Foods class.  A place where students become cooks,  cooks become chefs, and lazy students just become fat!

In this foods and nutrition class, students will increase skills in food preparation, analyze recipes, improve sanitation and safety procedures, preserve foods, and increase time and management skills.  This class provides in-depth information and experiences in the following areas: food preparation and management, nutrition, food industry, cultural differences, meal service and career opportunities.
 

The course is divided into units of study.  Our syllabus for the first semester  follows.
