School Improvement Advisory Committee

SIAC Meetings

The purpose of the School Improvement Advisory Committee (SIAC) is to annually make recommendations to the School Board with regard to progress achieved with annual improvement goals for the state indicators that address reading, math, and science. Based on the committee members' analysis of the needs assessment data, they shall make recommendations to the board about the following components:

  1. Major educational needs
  2. Student learning goals
  3. Long-range goals that address reading, math, and science
  4. Harassment or bullying goals and/or programs.
  5. Implementation of the Health and Wellness Policies impacting students
