Welcome Back to School!

The countdown to the 2026-2027 school year has begun, and we're so excited to welcome back our students! Make sure to complete online registration through JMC for a seamless start to the year. Use the navigation to find other important information such as school supply lists, forms, and student handbooks.
 

New Students

Students who are brand new to the school district including first time preschool and kindergarten students should attend the new family registration day in-person at the school on Tuesday, August 4th between 9 am to 3 pm. If this date does not work for your family, please contact the school to arrange another time to receive registration information at 712-778-2154.
 
Please be prepared to provide the following documents upon enrollment: 
  • Copy of State Issued Birth Certificate 
  • Copy of Social Security Card
  • Proof of Residency (copy of lease or county tax statement showing guardian's name and address)
  • Copy of Student's Physical Examination from within the last 365 days
  • Immunizations Records

Returning Students

Parents of returning students will need to register their students online through the JMC Parent Portal. Online registration is open Thursday, July 30th beginning at 9 am and will be open through Wednesday, August 5th.
 
Please note, registration should be done on a laptop, desktop computer or ipad as it is not compatible with a mobile device. If you do not have computer access, computers will be available in the school conference room August 3rd-5th. While registration is available beginning July 30, office staff will return for phone, email, and/or in-person assistance on August 3.
 
Once you have logged into JMC, follow these simple steps (or follow these step-by-step instructions) to complete the registration process:
  1. Login to JMC Parent Portal (if you don’t know your login information, contact the office at 712-778-2154)
  2. Click on “Register for 2026-27” and Start/Continue the Registration process
  3. View Lunch Account & Make a Payment if needed
  4. View Tuition/Fees & Make a Payment if needed
  5. View Downloadable Links such as Medication Consent Form, Dental Screening, Vision Screening, Athletic Physical Forms, District Calendar, and School Supply Lists
  6. Complete JMC Online Free/Reduced Form if applicable
  7. School Transportation Form (All students who will utilize school transportation MUST complete this form annually) 
 

Fees

We require a $30 book fee per student (K-12) Please make sure this fee is paid before the first day of school. This can be dropped off at the School Office or paid online through the JMC Parent Portal. Please note, this fee can be waived or reduced if your student qualifies for free or reduced priced school meals. To apply for a waiver please complete the Student Fee Waiver Form or the waiver portion of the Free / Reduced Price Meals Application.
