Hi, my name is Miss Misty Winston! I have been teaching since 2014 and have been with the Griswold District since 2015. I graduated from Buena Vista University with a BA in Elementary Education. I have endorsements in Early Childhood, Reading, and Social Studies. I have taught 3rd grade, Kindergarten, and Preschool. One of my favorite parts of teaching is the “aha” moments the students have when everything starts to click. I was born and raised in the Atlantic area. I now live outside of Walnut with my husband (Michael), our sons (Mack and Malcolm) and our dogs (Django and Willow). I enjoy being outside with my family. As a family we love to take trips to the zoo, go on walks, and work in our garden.
