Griswold Students Represent School on National FBLA Stage

Two Griswold High School students had the honor of representing our school and community on the national stage this summer after qualifying for the 2026 Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas.

Alexis Dofner qualified to compete in Public Speaking, while Hayden Jones earned a spot in Impromptu Speaking. Qualifying for the national conference is a significant accomplishment, placing these students among the top FBLA competitors in the country.

More than 18,000 FBLA members from across the United States attended the conference, where students participated in competitive events, leadership workshops, networking opportunities, and career-focused learning experiences.

In addition to competing nationally, Griswold students attended the Opening General Session, connected with peers from across the country through networking and pin trading, and explored some of Texas' most historic landmarks, including the Alamo. Before returning home, the group also visited the Fort Worth Stockyards to experience the famous cattle drive and learn more about the area's rich history.

Opportunities like the National Leadership Conference allow students to develop confidence, strengthen leadership and communication skills, and gain experiences that extend far beyond the classroom.

The district extends its sincere appreciation to the sponsors and supporters whose generosity helped make this trip possible. Their investment provided our students with the opportunity to represent Griswold at one of the nation's premier student leadership conferences.

We would also like to thank FBLA Chapter Advisor Kara Victor for her dedication and countless hours spent preparing and supporting our students throughout the year.

Congratulations to Alexis Dofner and Hayden Jones on earning the opportunity to compete at the national level and for representing Griswold Community School District. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments.
