Taylor’s commitment to building connections with students reflects the important role paraprofessionals play in helping children learn, grow, and feel supported at school. For Taylor, one of the most rewarding parts of her job is being someone her students can look up to and making a difference in their lives.
“It’s very rewarding to see how much the kids learn and grow,” Taylor shared.
Taylor also values the strong relationships she has built with her colleagues, describing the staff she works with as a close-knit family.
Outside of school, Taylor enjoys crafting, diamond art, and putting together jigsaw puzzles. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and brings her dedication and care to her work with students each day.
When asked what advice she would share with others working in education, Taylor kept it simple: “Try your best and make sure the kids come first.”
