Board Election

The Board of Education consists of seven members who serve a term of four years. School Board Directors are elected during the general election held on the first Tuesday in November. State law does not limit the number of terms a member may serve. 

 

This year's election will be held November 4, 2025. The following director positions will appear on this year's ballot.

In order to appear on the ballot, an individual should complete the nomination petition along with an affidavit of candidacy and file it with the School Board Secretary beginning August 25th, 2025 and ending September 18, 2025 by 5 pm. Director districts should obtain at least 10 signatures of eligible electors on their nomination petition and At-Large representatives should obtain at least 22 signatures of eligible electors on their nomination petition.
