National Honor Society

The National Honor Society (NHS) is a prestigious organization that recognizes high school students for exemplary achievement in its four founding pillars: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character. These pillars guide the selection and evaluation of all members. Membership is both an honor and a responsibility, granted by a faculty council based on a student’s application and demonstrated qualities. To remain in good standing, members must continue to uphold the expectations of each pillar. Any actions or behaviors that fall below the organization’s standards may result in a probationary period.
