About Me
I have been proud to serve as a high school special education teacher at Griswold since January 2020. One of the things I value most about my role is working with small groups of students, which allows me to build meaningful relationships and get to know each student as an individual. I am passionate about helping students grow, supporting their needs, and making a positive difference in their lives. Griswold has always been home to me. I was raised here and graduated from Griswold High School in 2015. Now, I am raising my own family in this community, which makes my connection to the school and community especially meaningful. I am passionate about giving back, supporting our students, and helping make our school district a great place for kids and families.
In addition to teaching, I have been an assistant softball coach since 2019 and an assistant volleyball coach since 2020. Coaching has given me another opportunity to build relationships with students, encourage them, and support them both on and off the court or field.

- I graduated from Griswold High School in 2015 and graduated from Dordt University in 2019. Upon graduation, I returned to Griswold to teach and coach. I have been an assistant softball and volleyball coach since 2019 and began teaching high school special education in January 2020.
