About Me

I've been teaching science since 2022. Before that, I worked in a laboratory doing quality control tests. I received a master's degree in education from Morningside University in the spring of 2025. Some of my favorite things to teach about are ecology, space, genetics, and dinosaurs. I look at science education as a way of developing thinking skills, so my approach to teaching emphasizes the process of doing science. Basically, I want students to figure out how to figure things out about the world. I'm looking forward to another year of curiosity and exploration. Expect updates sporadically.
